ECU students, faculty, and staff area usually automatically registered for library use. Simply bring the item you would like to borrow (checkout) to the Circulation desk along with your ECU OneCard. Other borrowers must first register (and pay a membership fee if applicable, i.e. Friends of Joyner or Laupus, NC Residents). An ECU loan representative can determine a loan amount that is just right for you and your budget. You can then choose your new auto or recreational vehicle, negotiate your deal and contact ECU with the amount of your purchase. You can then write a personal check or pick up a check at ECU and take your new vehicle home. Cash Book: Cash Book records all receipts of and payments in cash. Usually the deposits into bank accounts maintained by a business firm, withdrawals from such accounts and cheque payments are also recorded in the Cash Book. Sometimes a separate book for recording receipts and payments by cheques/DDs etc., is kept, known as the Bank Book. East Central University now offers payment plans to assist students in managing their financial obligations. Use of the plan costs $35, but no other down payment is required. Afterward, payments are due once per month with the final payment due the last week of classes.
